May 2016

Tiger Family,

Now is the time to finish strong! With the support of your teachers, counselors, staff, and parents, you have accomplished amazing things academically, athletically, and artistically. You have had a tremendous, positive impact on your community spreading Tiger Pride everywhere you go! What a tremendous start!

Now, however, is the time to finish strong! We wish our Tigers the very best on their Advanced Placement Exams taking place May 2 to May 13. Our Finals Schedule—for underclassmen and seniors—can be found at the top of this page. Please note that we will have minimum days the last three days of school.

The Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2016 will be on Thursday, May 19, at 6:30pm in Graber Stadium. This is a ticketed event. Also, please note: In order to extend the life of our turf, parents and family members will be meeting their graduates in the North or South Quads after the ceremony.

Summer School starts Monday, May 23 and goes to Thursday June 30. Period 1 is from 8:30am to 10:50am; Period 2 is from 11:10am to 1:30 pm.

Tigers, I am so proud to be your principal! You have accomplished amazing things. There are less than three weeks left of school—FINISH STRONG!

C-High!

Dr. Matamala, Principal

From the creators of the Grammy Award and Pulitzer Prize winning musical, Hamilton.

Only 3 Shows left. Friday & Saturday 7pm, and Sunday 2pm. Tickets $10 only.

IN THE HEIGHTS tells the universal story of a vibrant community in New York's Washington Heights neighborhood - a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It's a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind. IN THE HEIGHTS is the winner of the 2008 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Score, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations."
