Please choose the class to view from the choices on the left.

It is important that you check the actual class page that you are in each day that you are absent. You may also print out handouts for class. They can be found in the locker section to the left.

I would first like to say that I am looking forward to a wonderful year as your English teacher. There are many challenges ahead that we will face together. Through a lot of hard work and determination, these challenges will become increasingly second nature to you and it is my hope that you will see success from the efforts you put forth. Please make sure you check your class page to keep up on assignments, handouts, and any other information that may keep you connected to class.

About the teacher

Education, Experience, and Personal Information

I grew up in the Imperial Valley and graduated from Imperial High School in
1993. My graduating Class was the same 100 students that I had gone with to
preschool. Imagine my shock my first day of teaching at Chaffey High School.
That was in 1999. I might have been in shock, but I loved the energy and vibe
of this place. I started teaching at Chaffey two years after graduation from
California Baptist Univeristy in 1997 and a short teaching venture in the
private sector. While at Chaffey I have taught many classes
including: English I, English II, English III, English IV, Reading, and
English/Literacy fundamentals. I have also run the Pacific Islander's club at
Chaffey for the past seven years.

Outside of school, I have a husband and two children (Stephen 12 and Kimberly
9). They both hope to come to Chaffey someday.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to email me
at any time. This is the best form of communication for me.
