    Principal's Message

    Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to Chaffey High School, home of the Tigers, for the 2019-20 school year. I hope you are having an amazing summer!

We look forward to welcoming our incoming freshmen, the class of 2023, and all students on Wednesday, August 7th.  Expect to see staff and a grand presence of students from band, ASB, Cheer, Link Crew, and more out in front of the school as we kick off the school year and welcome our Tigers to Chaffey High.

Please look for your summer mailer through the US postal service to arrive no later than July 13.  Please read all the documents enclosed, and make sure that all the forms in the registration packet are completed and bring them to turn in on registration/schedule pick up day.  Students will begin to report the last week of July for Schedule pick up.  See the schedule below for exact times, dates, and locations.

For parents of freshmen, we invite you to attend our Parent Orientation Meeting.  This presentation will cover the high school experience and focus on how to help your student become academically successful in high school and beyond.

Finally, we continue to work on streamlining our behavior and learning expectations by incorporating Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) strategies on our campus. We have established three “golden rules” that are the foundation of how we interact with each other. Tigers are:

Respectful—treat people the way you would like to be treated
    Responsible—follow school rules
Ready to Learn—be on time, in the appropriate place on campus, and with the required materials

We believe that these “golden rules” will help students be successful in school, career, and life in general.

Once again, I look forward to seeing all of you on August 7th as we begin the new school year. As always, please feel free to contact me with your questions or concerns, and enjoy the rest of your summer.

    Go Tigers!

Mathew Holton signing MOU with CBU

new guaranteed admission agreement with cbu!

Mathew Holton, Superintendent, and California Baptist University Provost, Dr. Charles Sands, recently signed our newest admission agreement! All CJUHSD graduates who meet the mutually agreed upon admission requirements, will be able to enroll and attend this progressive university. One of the amazing highlights of this agreement is the commitment of CBU to provide a minimum of $8,000 per academic year in combined scholarships and grants to all our students! We are very excited to provide this opportunity for our students to attend this university in Riverside, California. This agreement, along with the previous agreements with Cal State San Bernardino, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Bakersfield, University of Redlands, University of La Verne, Azusa Pacific University, and Grand Canyon University continue to provide an advantage to the students of the Chaffey Joint Union High School District to pursue their dreams for the future!
